Does unit calibrate speedo after tire size change and need to stay installed?

Yes it will; after adjusting the tire size for your 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500, the displayed speed will be corrected to the size of the tire when using the Edge Pulsar LT Inline Tuner Module # EP86DR.
I verified this with Edge for you, and the # EP86DR does need to stay plugged in.
