Great question.

Per the 2000 Chevrolet Impala owners manual it states that Your vehicle can be towed with wheel lift or car carrier equipment. Don’t have your vehicle towed on the drive wheels, unless you must. If the vehicle must be towed on the drive wheels, do not tow the vehicle more than 500 cumulative miles (800 km) or exceed 50 mph (80 km/h). If these limitations must be exceeded, then the drive wheels have to be supported on a dolly.

We don't offer a tow dolly with the lunette already in place, you would need to add one yourself. We do have the parts needed to accomplish this though.

If you can use a regular ball mount I recommend the Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly with Disc Brakes - Foldable - 4,800 lbs # DM9713045.

If you absolutely need the lunette you can replace the actuator on the Kar Kaddy with the Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator - Drum - Lunette Ring - Bolt On - 8,000 lbs # T4093200.
