Hello again, I am interested in an auto sliding 20k fifth wheel hitch as well as a 30 GTW gooseneck hitch for my 2005 Dodge 2500 Short Bed 6 1/2 ft. Can you help me with the part numbers and brands needed? Thanks

For your 2005 Dodge Ram 2500, regular bed, I recommend the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3400-5W with the installation kit # BWGNRK1313-5W.

This 5th wheel hitch has a GTW of 20,000-lbs, and a vertical load limit of 5,000-lbs. When the hitch is removed from the bed, you will have access to a gooseneck ball hole, allowing for you to also use a gooseneck hitch. This hitch utilizes a 2-5/16" ball, and has a maximum towing capacity of 30,000-lbs.

You will need to verify with your owner's manual your vehicle's maximum towing capacity and compare the two ratings between the hitch and your vehicle, and utilize the lowest rating between the two.
