Expert Reply:
The Redline Universal Cam-Door Lock, # 383200, will work great for your 36 inch wide doors on your trailer. You will want to use a steel pipe with an inner diameter of 3/4 of an inch and an outer diameter no wider than 1-1/8 inches. The pipe will slide over the upper and lower cam lock ends and run through the 4 brackets.
We had this lock in stock, so I pulled one from our warehouse and made a short video for you.
