Can it be left open while traveling down the road

Yes, due the the unique design of the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07500K it can be left open while travelling. If you don't have the fan running while it's open the powered lift will close so if you plan on just having it open to vent you'll want to leave it off and manually open the vent before hauling your trailer.
