How to Reset a Brake Controller

Question:

I know it needs to be unplugged to reset, but unplug the unit itself or the trailer plug from the back?

To reset the Curt TriFlex Trailer Brake Controller item # C24VV you will just want to unplug the controller itself. I made a diagram to show you what you will need to unplug. Disconnect this wiring harness and count to 10 and that will reset your brake controller. Make sure you pull at the plugs not on the wires or you will rip them out.
