Question:
I have located and identified the gray water valve on my trailer. It looks like the LaSalle Bristol 1 1/2 inch model is what I need for an exact replacement. My question is this: How do I remove the old one that’s glued in without damaging my pipes?

Expert Reply:
You have to cut off RV sewer valves and drains since there is no way to remove the adhesive between the piping and valve as it is basically plastic welded. So you'll have to cut off what you have now to install the # 34466N11AB48GMA. For solvent cement to install you'd need the # 3447530889 and you'd be set.
