Can you take the actual mirror out of the housing? Wanting to custom mount some heated pads in them

I spoke to a representative from CIPA. He told me the mirror in the CIPA Universal Door Mount Truck and Van Mirror - Black, part # CM41100, is not removable. I have included a video demo link below.
