Is Breakaway Switch HM39327 Waterproof

Question:
When the pin is out of the break away switch when is not in use is the switch waterproof or do they make a cover for it ?

Under normal circumstances you wouldn't want to park or store your trailer with the breakaway pin of the # HM39327 removed but while it is not submersible it would be water resistant and would do alright in a rainy climate as long as it was mostly out of the way of the weather.
