Question:
Dear Etrailer I own a Big Tex goose-neck trailer that is rated for 14000 pounds. It is probably 5 to 7 years old. I would like to install some type of bearing buddy type product on the wheel bearings to prolong their life and make the bearings more convenient to grease. Any idea what size and or model I need or what if compatible with my trailer?

You will likely need the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors # BB2717SS for your Big Tex Gooseneck trailer. With a GVWR of 14,000lbs you will likely have tandem 7,000lb axles underneath your trailer and the common hub bore is 2.717 for that size axle.
A Digital Caliper # PTW80157 will allow you to measure your hub bore by removing one of the grease caps on your trailer.
