Question:
Hi, I just installed the Maxx Air 00-07500K MaxxFan Deluxe. Once powered up the fan automatically starts working to exhaust air outside of my van at full RPMs without raising the lid. None of the buttons work on the fan itself and the remote has no response either. The light on the fan stays on when powered up. Is there remote programming or is there something Im missing? Thank you

It sounds like either the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00-07500K has a faulty control board, has been wired incorrectly, or isn't receiving 12 volts to properly function.
I recommend first checking the wiring with a digital multimeter # PT89ZR and ensure that you didn't accidently get the wires crossed when splicing them together with the wiring from your RV. The white wire from the vent is your ground and the black wire is your power.
If your wiring is correct and you're receiving 12 volts at the vent then the control board will be your next troubleshooting step. For a # MA00-07500K you would need the Replacement Printed Circuit Board for MaxxAir Powered Lift RV Roof Vents w/ Reversible Fan # MA10A21275K.
