Your 2018 Dodge Durango RT most likely has the tow package so to find where the connector is you'd need to look behind the rear bumper most likely on the driver side of the vehicle to find what the # 30955 needs to plug into. The Draw Tite hitch that fits your vehicle # DT38MR does not have a mounting bracket so you'd need to attach the 7-way to the lower edge of the vehicle bumper with the included hardware.
Then for a brake controller the Prodigy P2 part # 90885 is a great option that works really well and is very reliable. To install it you'd just need the part # TK93VR which plugs in under the dash of the vehicle.
