Is Clunky Feeling After Installing Trailer Jack Gear Set Normal
Published 02/15/2022 >
Question:
Just bought replacement gears for my Fulton F2 1600 trailer jack, and it seems to chunk a little while lifting or lowering under pressure. Everything looks right, but could a bent handle cause this? I cant seem to see anything else that is amiss. Thanks!

It is most likely that the gears are so new they just aren't meshing as perfectly as you'd like. The more you use the jack they more the problem will go away as the clearances will become smoother basically.
