How Do Bikes Secure to the Surco 2 Bike Carrier for Vans and RVs - Ladder Mount
Updated 08/07/2013 | Published 08/05/2013 >
Question:
None of the pictures show the bottom of the mount and how the bike is actually mounted. The bottom part of the mount appears to be the lock up, but what goes there. Is that for the tire, the seat bar, the frame, what.

The Surco 2 Bike Carrier, # SP501BR, is just 2 L-shaped arms. The vertical part secures to the ladder and the horizontal part holds the bike. Typically it will hold the bikes at the seat post frame just in front of the rear wheel. Take a look at the picture I added as an example.
