The Autowbrake Electric Brake Controller # 3430001 is going to be the easiest solution for adding a brake controller on your 2022 BMW X5 with the factory tow package. The biggest benefit is there is no wiring being added on your BMW.
A hardwired option like the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 takes up space on your dash and may be less desirable to see every day.
