Charging 4 Batteries But Only Using 3 With The NOCO GENPRO On-Board Battery Charger - 4 Bank
Published 02/11/2022 >
Question:
I am in the process of converting my bass boat over to lithium batteries. I currently only charge 3 batteries 2 trolling and 1 starter. I will eventually get to 3 trolling, but not at the beginning. If I install your 4 bank and only connect to 3 in the beginning, will I be able to use this charger if I cover or tape over the leads until I get the last battery?

Yes, this is something that you could do. The NOCO GENPRO On-Board Battery Charger - AC to DC - Waterproof - 4 Bank - 12V - 40 Amp, part # NOC84FR, will maintain up to 4 batteries. You can set your back up in parallel or series, charge all four batteries, then remove the cable from the fourth battery. You would add it back in when you need it.
I have included a video demo below.
