Does The Air Damper Need To Be Trimmed For Installation Of The Draw-Tite Front Trailer Hitch?

Do I have to cut the air damper to install the DT45mr frt hitch for my 2021 chevy silverado 1500 with a 3.0 deisle eng I saw some reviews were they had to take it down then put it back because the bolt hole didnt line up
