Question:

Wanting to install air bags on a new 2022 Ram 2500 WD trying to decide between the Firestone F2598 and the air lift 88289. ill be pulling a 5th wheel RV. Which would you suggest is a better product? I am hoping I can handle the install myself and hoping it only has to be done once. Thanks from a novice truck and RV owner

For your 2022 Ram 2500 I recommend going with the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers item # AL88289 over the Firestone item # F2598. These have a 5,000 lbs weight capacity and the air springs have internal bumpers. You get the adjustable load support of air springs and the comfort and reliability of jounce springs. The jounces also work as a fail-safe if the air springs lose pressure. The air bags will reduce the strain on your rear suspension, increase safety, and compensate for uneven loads.
