Best Air Helper Springs and Air Compressor for a 2022 Ram 2500

Wanting to install air bags on a new 2022 Ram 2500 WD trying to decide between the Firestone F2598 and the air lift 88289. ill be pulling a 5th wheel RV. Which would you suggest is a better product? I am hoping I can handle the install myself and hoping it only has to be done once. Thanks from a novice truck and RV owner

For your 2022 Ram 2500 I recommend going with the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers item # AL88289 over the Firestone item # F2598. These have a 5,000 lbs weight capacity and the air springs have internal bumpers. You get the adjustable load support of air springs and the comfort and reliability of jounce springs. The jounces also work as a fail-safe if the air springs lose pressure. The air bags will reduce the strain on your rear suspension, increase safety, and compensate for uneven loads. They also improve steering and braking performance. I have linked the instructions along with a couple of installation videos so you can follow along with the process.

I also recommend the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Remote - Bluetooth - EZ Mount item # AL74000EZ. Air Lift's premium, wireless, onboard compressor system with Bluetooth allows you to fill your air springs at the touch of a button. The WirelessAIR also automatically maintains pre-set air pressure levels. It lets you adjust two air springs independently with the wireless remote control. This will allow you to level your Ram from front to back. It also allows you to get side-to-side leveling of off-center loads by inflating each spring with a different amount of air. You will want to use the Air Lift Air Hose Cutter item # AL10530 for exact cuts and flawless seals. You want to make sure your cuts are perfectly straight so they attach to the fittings completely.
