Will The Thule TopRide Fit My 2010 Lexus RX 450h With A Factory Roof Rack

Question:
Hi I’m wondering if the Thule TopRide is to long for the factory roof rack on my 2010 Lexus RX 450h. Will it obstruct the hatchback of my SUV from opening all the way? Can it be cut down the 4 inches and the end cap re used?

This will not be a problem. All you have to do is move your crossbars forward far enough that you will not get any interference, most of the time you will not have to move them at all. In addition, you can adjust the mounting point for the rearward clamp on this roof bike rack. Once your crossbars have been adjusted, you will be able to install the Thule TopRide Roof Bike Rack for 1 Bike - Fork Mount, part # , on your 2010 Lexus RX 450h without interfering with your hatchback.
