Question:
The text of the advert. said that this part was for the hood. Is it for the hood over the engine compartment or the back door/hatch? Thanks.

The Hood Lift Support part # ATL94YR which is a fit for a 2006 Toyota 4Runner is designed to replace the strut under the hood over the engine bay. If you're looking for the strut that holds up the back hatch you will need to source this elsewhere as we do not carry them.
