Question:
Hi. Im writing for advise. I currently use 4 12v batteries on my 07 Keystone NRG Toy Hauler. The batteries are about run out and I am thinking of switching to 4 Trojan 6v batteries. Would i be better served with a better power converter regarding charging? I have read about multi stage converter/chargers, but frankly its getting a bit confusing. If I take this step I want to be sure I am doing it right. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Switching your power converter to one like the Go Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger # 34266912 is a much better choice than what came in your 2007 Keystone NRG Toy Hauler. This charger will monitor the batteries and adjust charging to help extend the life of your new 6v batteries like the Bright Way Deep Cycle RV # BRW74FR.
As this is a stand alone unit it will likely be somewhat confusing on how to wire it into line on your current power converter. You will need to ensure that there is enough room in a properly ventilated area near your current power center. The unit is 9-3/4" long x 7-3/4" wide x 3-1/2" tall. The 12 volt wires will be removed from the factory converter and ran into the new Go Power unit. Since the stand alone plugs into a power outlet rather than hardwired you will either need to terminate the 120 volt wiring into the converter or use that wiring to create an outlet for the unit to plug into depending on if you have an alternate outlet you can use.
