I do have a solution for you, but the Base Rails for Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Racks # TH21782 will not work with your 2020 Ram 1500 short bed.
Instead, I recommend going with the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A4000965 which will work with your BAKFlip tonneau cover, like the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK448227.
This rack is made in the USA, has a maximum capacity of 500-lbs, and also has a tie-down kit # A4000882 so you can quickly and easily secure your cargo available, as well as, the Load Stops for Adarac Truck Bed Ladder Rack Crossbars # A4000880 to help contain your load and prevent it from shifting.
