I will be buying a subaru forester ltd. and need to tow a small utility trailer. what stealth hidden hitch system would you recommend? I want only for towing no bike rack wanted. Can you recommend an installer in the bellingham wa area? thanks

Congrats on the new car! I have a solution for you but there are no Stealth Hitches for the 2022 Subaru Foresters. However, there is one from EcoHitch that will work well with a small utility trailer and look great on your new car. It is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 306-X7391. This is a custom fit hitch that bolts directly to your Subaru's frame with included hardware. It does not require any drilling or welding. This is a Class III hitch with a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 525 lbs. I have attached a picture and linked an installation video so you can watch the process and see what the final product will look like.

To control your utility trailer's lighting functions you will need a wiring harness with a 4-way connector. The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118467 is they way to go. Tekonsha makes the most reliable wiring harnesses in the towing business. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your Subaru's wiring harness in your rear cargo area. I have attached an installation video.

To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
