Does The Curt 40K Lunette Ring Have A Max Tongue Weight Limit

Question:
What is maximum Tongue weight, or VL capacity on CU99FR ? I know the maximum towing capacity is 40,000lbs.

Lunette rings like the Curt SecureLatch Lunette Ring - Adjustable Channel Mount - 3" Diameter - 40,000 lbs # CU99FR do not have tongue or vertical weight limits.
These types of rings are designed for heavy duty situations and loads and are not rated the same way you would a standard ball mount or trailer hitch.
You are only limited to the capacity of the tow vehicle and the trailer you are attaching the lunette to. So make sure you double check the load ranges of your owners manual and whatever that number is will be your max limit.
