Do The Brophy Camper Scissor Steps Collapse?

Question:

I looked at all of the pictures, and all of them show the steps extended. I want to know what they are like when you are driving. I have a 4wd camper van and would use them for the side door, but they cannot get in the way of four wheeling.

The Brophy Camper Scissor Steps # AS23 does fold down for storage, so you do not have to leave them fully extended if you don't want to.

Simply, remove the arm from the upper bracket, lift the steps up, push the steps down, and secure the, to the keeper located on the back.
