Yes, the Camco Automatic Changeover Regulator # CAM59005 can be used to connect two propane tanks to run a generator. You can use the Camco Propane Supply Hose # CAM59153 to connect the two tanks to the regulator.
You will just need to verify the correct nominal outlet pressure required by your generator, as well as finding the correct fitting to connect a hose from the regulator to your generator.
