Question:

The only trailer hitch you sell for a 2008 Dodge Caliber is the 24769 Class I 1 1/4inch Tow Bar. Will this Class II Swagman XC2 Bike Rack fit the Dodge Caliber Hitch I need to buy?

The Swagman XC2 Bike Rack # S64650 will technically fit the 1-1/4" receiver opening of the Class I Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch # 24769 on your 2008 Dodge Caliber, but Swagman has tested and deemed that a Class I receiver isn't strong enough which is why it is rated for a Class II hitch.

As an alternative I recommend using the Malone Runway Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # MPG2149 instead. The Runway bike rack can hold 33 lb bikes as opposed to 35 lb bikes like the Swagman XC, but everything else about the Malone is an improvement.
