Question:

My wife and I are going to become full time RVers within the next few months, our last trip about beat us to death, So we are thinking of buying a new pin box but are undecided on which one, I like the air ride one, she likes the MORryde, I just want the one that will take chucking away, or most of it away. I have 2021 Arctic Wolf 3550 Suite, please help me. My part# is SPB72-1621 LD GVWR 12,000

Both the MORryde Cushioned 5th Wheel Pin Box # MR74VR and Curt Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC328492 will help to improve your ride while towing your 2021 Artic Wolf 3550. Both reduce chucking and help to reduce road shock. The Flex Air will also work to help absorb bounce from transferring to your truck.

The MORryde is the easiest to use as you just connect and go. With the Flex Air you will want to carry a Portable Air Compressor # BDW41002 to ensure that the air pressure is where it needs to be. To much or too little air pressure can lead to a damaged Air Spring # LC432404 and/or Shock # LC177223.

To determine which is likely going to be the best for you will depend on how often you will be towing when you go full time. Some full timers like to stay in one place for a month or two while others only want to stay a week or two. For me the Flex air is best for long drives that you are only doing every couple months. With the simplicity of the MORryde it will be better for your more frequent moves especially if you are only taking short trips to the next area as you are making your trip around the nation.
