Yakima GrandTour Lo Rooftop Cargo Box Height Above Crossbars

Question:

I understand that this low profile ski box is 10 inches tall. However it is notched for the cross bars. I would like to know how tall the notches are or how tall the top of the ski box is above the cross bars? Is the notch 1 inch, thus the ski box rises 9 inches above the cross bars? SUV keep getting taller and garages stay where they were. I am sure you know this problem all too well. Cheers.

The height dimension of the Yakima GrandTour Lo part # Y46FR of 10 inches is the height added to a set of crossbars it would be installed on. Since this would be the most reason common why someone would be curious about the height of the box that's why it's listed as the exterior height this way.
