Of the available options, I would recommend the Thule OutWay, part # TH45JV. The OutWay uses two easily adjustable rubber coated straps to attach to the vehicle, versus the 6 straps and buckles used by other racks. The cable system allows the rack to be installed or removed in a matter of moments. This rack comes with locks for both the rack and the bikes to deter theft. There are less expensive options, but in my opinion the ease of use and the extra features offered by the OutWay more than make up for the price differential. The OutWay is a very sturdy rack that is highly rated by our customers.

To carry women's bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # TH982XT is recommended. The adapter spans the distance between the seat post and the handle bar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike has greater ground clearance and is not carried at an angle.
