Question:

What is the thread size/type for this drain? I tried a 1.5/1.25inch pvc female threaded piece and neither really fit properly.

The Better Bath RV Shower Pan # LC209500 has a 2" diameter drain so you would need to use a drain like the RV Shower Drain with Strainer # 37295175. From there you would need a 2 in. PVC Schedule 40 Female S x FPT Adapter, which you can find at your local hardware store. One end will get glued to your drain pipe and the other will allow you to screw in the drain # 37295175.

I recommend also using some plumbers putty on the top portion of the drain where it meets the drain hole in the shower base for a watertight seal.
