Question:

Hi. I see the weight limit for a bike is 44 lbs. If I use this on rails on a Yakima Rack and Roll trailer vs on a roof could it support more weight? Looking for rails that could support a 60 lb ebike.

I wish we had a roof bike rack with a high enough weight capacity for your e-bike but the roof bike rack we offer with the highest weight capacity is the Inno Tire Hold II # INA389 which has a 50 lb weight capacity. If there was a way to shed 10 lbs from your bike like by removing the seat and battery this could work. But to answer your question more specifically the Rack and Roll trailer does not give the bike racks additional weight capacity. Most roof racks have a 165 lb weight capacity.
