Does The Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock Have A Manual Override

Hi there, Im considering getting the PL8600 lock for my truck, but I am a bit concerned about how I would open the truck, should the device ever fail while the lock was engaged. Is there a way to manually disengage the lock, should this ever happen?

There is no manual override for the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8600 however, you can pair this with the Manual Lock w/ Handle for Pop & Lock Custom Powered Tailgate Lock # PL6250 for a fail safe.
This will not work if your truck already has a locking tailgate handle.
