I looked up some pictures of your 2000 Featherlite trailer, and without knowing the exact door specs on your 2000 Featherlite trailer, it looks like the trailer uses a latch system like the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit with Keyed Alike Option - Black # 295-000019. This system comes with all installation hardware required.

In order to make sure that this latch will work for you, there a a couple things to consider. The first thing is to make sure that your latch cutout is 2-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" tall to 3" wide x 4" tall. The next thing to consider is the door thickness. This latch kit is designed to fit doors that are 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick.
