I am looking for a lockrack loading bar to help load my kayak. Is it still available? If not do you have any other alternatives? I have not bought a roof rack yet but I do ha e the lockrack kayak xl. 2016 Subaru sti naked roof.

I do have a solution for you, but will not involve the Lockrack Loading Bar. You will still have to remove, or adjust the orientation, of the arms for this solution to work, but this method would be your only option. You can use the following items to help you load your kayak with the Lockrack Loading Bar.

The Rhino-Rack Universal Load Assist - Crossbar Mount - Side Loading - 132 lbs, part # RR-RUSL. This load assist bar clamps to your roof top rack and it has a weight limit of 132 lbs.

The roof rack itself, will consist of the following:

Yakima CoreBar Crossbars - Steel - Black - 60" Long - Qty 2. part # Y00422

This roof rack has a weight limit of 165 lbs. It comes with elliptical shaped crossbars to help reduce wind noise and aid with fuel efficiency. I also included the Yakima Same Key System Lock Cores so you can lock this roof rack to your vehicle.

Either of the load assist options will work, but it will require you to leave one side of the Lockrack Adjustable XL Watersport Carrier - Canoe, Kayak, or 2 SUPs - Side Loading - Universal Mount, part # LR54FR, in the storage position, to make it easier to load a kayak on the roof of your vehicle.
