Just wondering can a person add diamond plate to a plastic trail step fender

According to my research, you can technically add plastic diamond plating on a plastic trailer step fender like the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fenders w/ Top and Side Steps - Gray Plastic - 12" # CE19502-2. However, with the amount of labor that is required with that process, I recommend purchasing metal fenders that already have diamond plating. For example, the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fender - Aluminum Tread Plate - 13" Wheels # CE17960ATB.

I went ahead and linked a product page of all of our other fenders that already have diamond plating.
