Will TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Uprising TLA9005 Fit 27-7/8 Inch Wide Doorway

Question:
Glow Step Uprising. When measuring the lip on our entry door it looks to be 27-7/8 inch not the full 28 inch as recommended. Can we still install the 28 inch style? All other measurements are spot on.

I reached out to TorkLift for you, and they said that small of a difference will not be a factor and that yes, you can install the GlowStep for the 28 inch doorway, which is the following part number:
