Will The MB Sturgis Propane Hose # 100022-144-MBS Shut Off The Propane Flow When Removed

Does the disposable cylinder port have a valve that will shut off propane when the appliance is disconnected similar to a 1 lb propane bottle, or will I need to shut the propane off before removing the appliance?

The MB Sturgis Propane Hose for Small Appliance - Handwheel POL x Disposable Cylinder Port - 12' # 100022-144-MBS does not cut off the propane flow when removed from the appliance. You will need to shut off the valve of the propane tank before removing the hose.
