Can Cantilever Extension Be Used On Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack with Rooftop Tent

Question:
Hi There. I have a Thule Tracrac with cantilever extension for my F150. I have purchased a rooftop tent that is 60inch wide. Will the tent fit between the supports for the cantilever extension? If not, ant way to raise the tent a few inches so that it will clear the support bars?

If equipped, the cantilever extension will need to be removed from the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack. There isn't any sort of riser you can use to lift the tent over the support and most tents will be too wide to fit between them. The extension however is easy to remove, simply remove the forwardmost crossbar and un-bolt each support.
