I want to know what trailer brake controller you feel is the best for my 2022 Ford F-350? I made sure to order a truck that did not have the factory integrated brake controller as I have had to many issues with those type of controllers in the past. The truck does have the 7-way wiring so I only need a controller.

I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 as being the best brake controller for your 2022 Ford F-350. This controller is proportional so you will not need to constantly make adjustments like most timed brake controllers. It will sense the braking force being applied inside your F-350 and adjust the force sent to the trailer. You will be able to control up to 4 braking axles with this controller as well since you will likely be pulling larger trailers, where some controllers are limited to 1 or 2 braking axles.
To install this on your F-350 you will need the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 22292. This will allow you to plug into the factory brake controller connector, making installation plug and play.
