Replacement Round Gooseneck Coupler With Inner & Outer Tube

Question:

Hello - I have a gooseneck trailer that has an old style coupler on it with a broken latch. I need to update the coupler to a newer style. Does E-trailer offer a product that slips over an existing gooseneck tube and welds in place? My other option is to buy the entire tube and cut the old one off the frame, but was hoping there was an option that fit over a 4 OD tube and welds in place that has a new coupler on it. Thank you!

I can absolutely understand not wanting to have to cut off the entire tube, but there just isn't an option for a tube with a coupler that goes over your 4" diameter tube. The reason for that is the inner tubing - the part with the coupler - on standard goosenecks now are 4" diameter so they wouldn't be able to go over the tube.

So you will need to remove your current tube and install a new gooseneck coupler with an inner and outer tube, depending on the capacity you need:

- 25,000 lbs: Bulldog Gooseneck Coupler # BD0289250300

- 20,000 lbs: Bulldog Gooseneck Coupler # BD0287600300
