Is the Reese 5th Airborne Premium Fifth Wheel Air Ride Coupler the Same Length As the Rhino Pin Box

Question:
Do you know why this is an extended Pin box and longer than the other Airborne Pin Boxes? Would that likely cause issues with hitting the side of Tonneau cover rails in sharp turns?

The Reese 5th Airborne Premium Fifth Wheel Air Ride Coupler part # RP78FR is categorized as a long style pin box. The dimensions are designed to mirror that of the pin box it replaces which one that uses a Lippert 1621 pattern. Therefore, you shouldn't have any issue with clearance using the new pin box. In other words, it's not any longer or at least significantly, than the one it is designed to replace. I have attached a photo below you can use to verify.
