Next question, is there a “collapsing” rack that will work with the tonneau cover closed? Id like to be able to put the truck back in the garage without having to disassemble the rack every time

The Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack, # Y01151-58 will fit the Ford F-150 with 5-1/2 foot, 6-1/2 foot and 8 foot bed and allow the height to be reduced below the cab. And when you use the Tonneau Cover Adapter Kit for Yakima OverHaul HD, # Y01155 it can be used with Retrax XR, Pace Edwards UltraGroove, or Ford Embark LS tonneau covers.
