How to Choose Replacement Stereo for 2006 Class A Motorhome

Question:

I am looking to replace the factory stereo that came with our 06 fleetwood discovery class A motorhome. It is an in dash stereo system. Can you tell me if this is a good option or if not what stereo will fit in the hole that the current one is in. Im trying to get this for my husband for christmas and I dont know anything about stereos.

The Jensen RV Stereo # JWM60A is a solid choice for a replacement stereo, but you will need to take some measurements to determine if this will fit as a replacement or not since we unfortunately don't have a way to know what came on your 2006 Fleetwood Discovery.

The overall dimensions of this stereo are 10-7/16" wide x 7" tall x 6-1/2" deep, but the mounting dimensions are 9" wide x 6" tall x 5-1/2" deep. The mounting dimensions are what you'll need to take note of because that's the size the cutout needs to be for this stereo to physically fit where the old was now sits. You can ultimately make the cutout a little larger if need be, but it would be your call.
