Troubleshooting LED Trailer Lights Drawing Power at All Times

trailer led lights on all the time but very very dim. only drawing milli amps.

It sounds like you most likely have a ground issue. Your best bet is going to be checking your grounds to ensure they are secure and attached to bare metal surfaces free of dirt and corrosion. If all of your grounds check out you can check the vehicles wires and connectors using a circuit tester like the Hook Probe Circuit Tester # PTW2993. You can see if there is constant power coming from the tail light circuit on the connector, if there is then you know there is an issue with the vehicle constantly sending power. If there is not then it is a problem with the trailer wiring. You will want to ensure that all of the connectors are debris and corrosion free. If all of this has been done and it does not fix your issues you can reach back out to me to further troubleshoot.
