For a brake controller for your 2008 Fleetwood Bounder 38P I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR. This proportional brake controller allows you to mount the main unit out of sight, with the knob mounted in the dash. This allows you to maintain a clean look and keeps everything out of the way.
The knob allows for easy adjustment of braking power, as well as manual override. It uses a colored LED for simple diagnostics. The 3-Axis accelerometer measures deceleration in all directions for precise braking and smooth, uniform stopping action. In order to install this brake controller in your motorhome you will have to hard wire it in.
I have attached a video review for your reference.
