For your 2021 Ford Ranger, I recommend the Curt # C13417 trailer hitch receiver.

When we installed the Curt on a 2020 Ford Ranger we found the center of the receiver pin hole to be 4" from the rear of the bumper. This may come in handy if you are using a hitch mounted accessory and need the additional bumper clearance. This receiver has a maximum tongue weight capacity of 900lbs and trailer capacity of 6,000lbs. With a weight distribution hitch tongue weight capacity remains at 900lbs while the trailer capacity increases to 8,000lbs. Be sure to never exceed any towing capacities given from Ford on your specific Ranger.

The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 22124 will provide you with a 7-way trailer connector that will plug into the factory wiring on your Ranger. You will need a 7-Way Mounting Bracket # A10-9394VP to secure it to your receiver.
