Question:

I will be flat towing my 2021 Jeep Cherokee and I saw somewhere that a harness from Mopar might be necessary. Is this something I need or do I not need that? Thanks.

The Mopar harness you are referring to is not necessary for flat towing your 2021 Jeep Cherokee. This was something that was needed on earlier Jeep models. The problem the harness corrected does not exist on the 2021.

If you need a flat towing setup for your Cherokee, I recommend the following:

Base Plate Kit- Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521452-5.
