Tire Chain Options for 275/50R22 Tires on a 2021 Ford F-150

Question:

Hi there, I am trying to figure out what tire chains I would need for my 2021 Ford F150. The tires on the truck are 275/50/R22. What do you recommend I should use? I would prefer to have something that wont potentially scratch the wheels if possible. Thanks!

It looks like there are very few options for the 275/50R22 tire size that you have on your 2021 Ford F-150; the Konig XD16 Pro # KON44FR and the Konig Premium K-Summit XXL # KON24FR. While both of these are Class S Compatible (meaning they are for low-clearance situations) the K-Summits are the only ones that offer rim protection so that's what you'll want to go with.

Please note that you'll also want to check out your version of the owner's manual for any specifications regarding snow chains. When I looked up the manual online it only says to use chains on the rear wheels, not to use self-tensioning chains, and it doesn't have your tire size listed as okay to use with chains. I recommend checking out your version to see if it says the same things or not.
