Based on my research, I confirmed with Magnaflow that the only way to figure out if the MagnaFlow Stainless Steel Catalytic Converter - Universal - California Approved MF33007 will fit your 1997 Ford Ranger 3.0L V6 engine is by providing your EFN (Engine Family Number). If you know that number, feel free to respond to this answer with that information. The tag with that number is commonly found near the radiator shroud under the hood.
However, if you do not need a catalytic converter that adheres to some states' emissions laws, I do have one that definitely fits your vehicle.
